Parameter: Adjacent Node ID Number
Default: None
Options: Optional; if specified, a valid string of 5 hexadecimal digits (0 to 9,
A,B,C,D,E,F)
Function: Identifies the local APPN adjacent node and is present in APPN alerts and
exchange identifications (XIDs). These 5 digits are combined with the
3-digit block number to form a unique XID node identification for the
adjacent node. The APPN network node and the adjacent node exchange
node identifications when establishing a connection.
Instructions: Enter 5 hexadecimal digits.
MIB Object ID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.5.14.1.4.1.11
Parameter: Adjacent Node Block Number
Default: None
Options: None
Function: A unique hexadecimal value that identifies APPN in this adjacent node.
The number is the first 3 digits of the node ID.
Instructions: Accept the derived value that displays in this field.

Adjacent Link Station List window (r
