Parameter: Default Hop
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IPv6 > IPv6 Global
Default: 64
Options: 0 to 255
Function: Supplies the default value that IPv6 inserts into the hop limit field of the IPv6
header of datagrams originated at this entity whenever a hop-limit value is not
supplied by the transport layer protocol.
Instructions: Accept the default value or supply a different value.

Parameter: Minimum Link MTU
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IPv6 > IPv6 Global
Default: 576
Options: 296 to 65535
Function: Indicates the minimum link MTU size that is assumed for every link in the IPv6
internet.
Instructions: By changing this parameter, you can control the maximum size of packets that
can be generated by this router if MTU path discovery is disabled.

Function: Enables and disables path MTU discovery support for self-originated traffic.
Instructions: Disable this feature if you want to use the Minimum Link MTU parameter to
control the maximum size of self-generated packets.
