This is equivalent to changing directories in a UNIX ﬁle system.

Specifying an Absolute Path Description

You can specify an absolute path from the context of any object to any other

object. Specify the instance identiﬁer of each object in the path from root level to

the desired level within the BCC conﬁguration tree.

Example:

Move from the context of ip/192.168.33.66 (on sync/3/1) to the context of

rip/1.2.3.4 (on ethernet/2/1). See Figure 2-5.
