Shortcut Keys
In addition to standard navigational aids, Avaya 3100 MC - Client for BlackBerry provides shortcut keys to
speed your workflow. For more information about shortcut keys, see Table 12 "Shortcut keys" on
page 40.
Note: Some devices may not offer the full range of shortcut keys.
Quick and Convenience keys
Two quick-access keys are available:
• The Quick Key is configured on the Avaya 3100 MC - Client for BlackBerry. The key provides one-
button access to a number of Avaya 3100 MC - Client for BlackBerry functions. To program the Quick
Key, refer to Table 13 "Quick and Convenience key functions" on page 40.
• The Convenience key is configured on your BlackBerry. You can access the Avaya 3100 MC - Client
for BlackBerry from any screen of the mobile device. To program the Convenience key, refer to your
BlackBerry documentation.
Note: You should configure one key to function as both the Quick key and the Convenience key.
Note: The functionality of the quick and convenience keys is dependent on the current state of the
Avaya 3100 MC - Client for BlackBerry.
