Examples:

ethernet slot 1 pci-slot 1 module 1 connector 1

This is an Ethernet interface configured on connector 1, which exists physically on module

1 of PCI Slot 1. To configure a dual Ethernet interface, you would now enter the following

command:

ethernet slot 1 pci-slot 1 module 1 connector 2

atm slot 1 pci-slot 1 module 2 connector 1 mode t1

This is an ATM T1 interface configured on connector 1, which exists physically on module 2

of PCI Slot 1.

serial slot 1 pci-slot 1 module 3 connector 1

This is a serial (WAN) interface configured on connector 1, which exists physically on

module 3 on the WAN interface card.
