Configuring PPP Services

Parameter: MRU Size (bytes)
Path: Protocols > PPP > Interfaces > Lines
Default: 1500
Options: 1 to 4600
Function: Sets the maximum receive unit (MRU) size being used on the line.
Instructions: Accept the default value, 1500 bytes, or enter in the range 1 to 4600 bytes. If
you have a network with Version 11.02 or Version 12.00 routers and also with
earlier Bay Networks routers or Corporate Lan Access Module (CLAM) routers
configured with dial-on-demand, standby, dial backup, or bandwidth on demand
circuits, make sure that the value you set for the PPP MRU Size parameter is the
same for the central-site and remote-site routers.
