Trap Receivers tab

The Trap Receivers tab lists the devices that will receive SNMP traps from the

Business Policy Switch switch.

When Device Manager opens a device, it automatically adds the device to the

Trap Receivers list.

To open the Trap Receivers tab:

1 Right-click the chassis and choose Edit > Chassis from the shortcut menu.

The Chassis dialog box opens (Figure 22) with the System tab displayed.

2 Click the Trap Receivers tab.

The Trap Receivers tab opens (Figure 27).

Table 23 describes the Trap Receivers tab items.

Editing network traps

To edit the network traps table:

1 In the Trap Receivers tab (Figure 27), click Insert.

Item Description

NetAddr The address (or DNS hostname) for the trap receiver.

Community Community string used for trap messages to this trap receiver.
