Parameter: Neighbor Timeout

Options: 40 to 8000 (seconds)
Function: Specifies in seconds how long a connection with a router neighbor is considered
active without receiving a subsequent probe or report from the neighbor.
Instructions: Determine a neighbor timeout period and specify a value from 40 through 8000
seconds (2 hours, 13 minutes, and 20 seconds).

Parameter: Route Expiration Timeout

Default: 200
Options: 20 to 4000 (seconds)
Function: Specifies in seconds how long a route is considered valid without the receipt of
a subsequent update indicating that the route is reachable. This value represents
the duration of time that this route will be used. Upon expiration of this timer,
this route is advertised as unreachable until it is refreshed or deleted.
Instructions: Enter a value from 20 through 4000 seconds (1 hour, 6 minutes, and 40
seconds) that represents the duration of time this route will be used without
being refreshed.
