Removing the environment variables

1 Click the Windows Start button, click Settings, and click Control Panel.

The Control Panel window appears.

2 Double-click the System icon.

The System Properties window appears.

3 Click the Environment tab.

4 In the list of system variables, select the VPSHOME setting, and click the Delete button.

5 Click the Set button.

6 Click the Apply button.

7 Repeat steps 4 through 6 to delete these variables:

• ASEHOME

• PERL5LIB

• MAX_REAL_VPS_NUM

• NUTROOT

• TERM

• TERMCAP

• TERMINFO

• PREPORTHOME

8 In the list of system variables, select PATH.

The variable information appears in the variable and value boxes.
