Enabling Router Redundancy

To conﬁgure a router redundancy group, you create a group conﬁguration ﬁle.

This ﬁle is a template that you use to conﬁgure each member of the group.

The instructions in this chapter assume that you want to create a router

redundancy group consisting of two members: Router 1 and Router 2. The

conﬁguration ﬁle you apply to these routers is named template. This ﬁle can be an

existing conﬁguration ﬁle to which you are adding router redundancy, or it can be

a new ﬁle you create to conﬁgure router redundancy and other features.

Creating a Group Conﬁguration File

To create a redundancy group conﬁguration ﬁle template, complete the following

steps. All group members will use the values you conﬁgure in this ﬁle.

1. In the main Site Manager window, choose Tools > Router Redundancy >
