To start a Site Manager tool from the UNIX command line:
1. Access an X window on your UNIX workstation.
2. Type one of the commands from Ta bl e A -1 and the command options you
want from Ta bl e A -2
.
3. Append the command with a space and an ampersand (&).
This action ensures that you can continue to enter commands in the
command-line window while the tool is open.
Example
You can type the following command to start the Configuration Manager with a
connection to IP address 192.32.4.2 and an SNMP timeout of 10 seconds:
wfcfg -a 192.32.4.2 -t 10 &
The Configuration Manager window opens, displaying the IP address of the router
you specified.
