scaled timers PLM timing parameters with units of tenths of a second, whole
seconds, minutes, or hours.
The precision of scaled timers is based on the specified scale rather
than set at a fixed value. All scaled timers have a minimum tolerance
of plus or minus 100 milliseconds. If you give the value of a scaled
timer without specifying units, the units default to seconds.

SCM Service Connection Manager. Responsible for maintaining a service
connection. A service connection is created every time an MX
application attempts to acquire services from a service manager.

screen mapper See PeriMap.
screen mode Sending data to and receiving data from a host computer using screen
images (maps).
PeriProducer supports formatted screen interaction through the
ReadHost and SendHost blocks. You can create formatted screens
(maps) with PeriMap.
