Using the Technician Interface to Enable Access

Enable SNMP access as follows:

Enter the following Technician Interface command:

get wfSnmpMgrEntry.4.*

The following line appears for each workstation configured as an SNMP

manager:

wfSnmpMgrEntry.wfSnmpMgrName.

(nil)

An IP address of 0.0.0.0 allows any workstation to become an SNMP

manager.

If the display does not contain the IP address of the Site Manager

workstation that failed, assign one.

Try again to establish an IP connection with the router.

7. Choose

Communities

. The SNMP Community list opens.

8. Choose

Community

. The Community menu opens.

9. Choose

Managers

. The Manager list opens.

10. If the list does not contain the IP address

of the Site Manager workstation that failed,

choose Manager.

The Manager menu opens.

11.Choose

Add Manager

. The IP address of the Site Manager

workstation is added to the Manager list.
