Modifying Control VC Traffic Parameters

You can modify the following traffic parameters for both the signaling and the

ILMI control VCs:

• Peak cell rate (PCR)

• Sustainable cell rate (SCR)

• Maximum burst size (MBS)

on page 1-23.

Setting the PCR

The peak cell rate (PCR) specifies the upper traffic limit, in cells/s, that the ATM

connection can support.

By default, the PCR is set to 4716 cells/s. Table 5-2

lists the valid ranges for each

Bay Networks ATM router.
