To configure a not-so-stubby area (NSSA) forwarding address, go to the area
prompt (for example,
box; ip; ospf; area/0.0.0.3) and enter:
nssa-route-fwd-addr <value>
value is any valid IP address in the network.
Using Site Manager
Before you can configure a not-so-stubby area (NSSA) forwarding address, you
first must set the NSSA Originate Def Route parameter to Enable.
To configure a not-so-stubby area (NSSA) forwarding address, complete the
following tasks:
Site Manager Procedure
You do this System responds
1. In the Configuration Manager window,
choose Protocols.
The Protocols menu opens.
2. Choose IP. The IP menu opens.
3. Choose OSPF/MOSPF. The OSPF/MOSPF menu opens.
4. Choose Areas. The OSPF Areas window opens.
5. Click on the area that you want to edit. The parameter values for that area
appear in the OSPF Areas window.
6. Set the NSSA Forward Address
parameter. Click on Help or see the
parameter descriptions beginning on page
A-22
.
Note: To use this parameter, you first
must set the NSSA Originate Def Route
parameter to Enable.
7. Click on Apply, and then click on Done. You return to the Configuration Manager
window.
